Today the Georgian judokas could not win medals at European Youth Olympic Festival. Natia Mikaberidze (63 kg) and Goga Kevkhishvili (81 kg) finished participating in the festival.

In the second round Mikaberidze beat Nargiz Hajiyeva of Azerbaijan. In ¼ final the Georgian judoka was winning over Sanne Vermeer of Netherlands by waza-ari but finally, she lost. In repechage Mikaberidze fell to Ida Eriksson of Sweden.

In 1/8 final Goga Kevkhishvili failed to Michal Jackiewicz of Poland. Unfortunately, Jackiewicz could not make through to semifinal and Kevkhishvili did not have a chance to wrestle in repechage.

Today champions and prize winners will also be revealed in girls’ 70 kg. Georgia does not have a participant in this weight category.
