The Georgian men’s tennis team beat Malta and took the first place in Group D in 2015 Davis Cup Europe Zone Group III.

Only two matches have been held yet but winner is already found out. Aleksandre Metreveli defeated Matthew Asciak 6:1, 6:3. Nikoloz Basilashvili won over Bernard Cassar Torregiani 6:1, 6:0. Doubles match may not be held.

Tomorrow Georgia will face Estonia for promoting to Davis Cup II Group.
