"Dila" Lost in Belgrade

“Partizan” defeated “Dila” Gori 1:0 at JNA Stadium in Belgrade. The Georgian club has a chance of making through to the next round but the opponent is a quite strong club.

The Belgrade club had advantage during the whole match. Oleksii Shevchenko, goalkeeper of “Dila”, played well, especially in the second half when he parried some good shots.

Bozhinov, Ninkovic and Babovic were very active. The latter scored the only goal.

At the end of the match “Dila” could have played easily but Palavandishvili made a foul near penalty area, referee showed him the second yellow card and he left the field. After a free kick Babovic scored a goal.

The Georgian referee showed yellow cards only to the Georgian football players. Besides Papava, Martsvaladze and Kvirkvelia, Palavandishvili received two yellow cards which was automatically red card.

Like “Dinamo” Batumi, “Tskhinvali” and “Dinamo” Tbilisi, player of “Dila” also left the field early. It is a kind of anti-record.
