Georgian tennis players Ekaterine Gorgodze and Sofia Shapatava won the Torun tournament (25 000 USD) in Poland.

In semifinal the No.1 seed Georgian pair beat the Polish-Australian duet 2:6, 6:2, 15:13. In final they defeated the Polish-Filipino tandem 6:4, 6:4.

In singles ¼ final Gorgodze lost to No.1 seed Kristina Kucova of Slovakia 3:6, 1:6. No.7 seed Shapatava failed to Dia Evtimova of Bulgaria 5:7, 5:7.
