24 000 Tickets will be Sold for Georgians, 6 000 for Europeans (+VIDEO)

UEFA European Super Cup tickets for Georgian fans will be sold on June 30, 9:00, on biletebi.ge. 24 000 tickets are allocated for the Georgians. The remaining 6 000 tickets, which are allocated for foreigners, will be sold on July 1, 9:00 European time (11:00 Tbilisi time). GFF’s president Domenti Sichinava announced this at the press conference , which took place on June 29. Technical director of biletebi.ge Giorgi Chkhikvishvili and Super Cup Organizing Committee’s leader Lasha Dvalishvili also attended this meeting.

Domenti Sichinava: “UEFA, the Georgian Football Federation and Biletebi.ge reached trilateral agreement and UEFA satisfied our requirement to sell 24 000 tickets for Georgian fans. Tickets for Georgians go on sale on June 30 at 9:00 on website biletebi.ge and the mentioned website will sell tickets for Europeans on July 1st at 9:00 European time. During selling tickets the lottery principle will not be used, but there will be a queue. Biletebi.ge corrected all gaps and passed monitoring. On June 30, 9:00, everything will cancel out and will start a queue.

After, the video describing how the fan can obtain tickets was presented at the GFF’s conference hall. The video and the instruction will be posted on GFF’s website and on biletebi.ge either.

Giorgi Chkhikvishvili: “As you know, our site could not stand the load, so we have installed 2-level security. If the user pass the first filter, it will stand in a queue. 50 citizens in a minute will be able to purchase a ticket. UEFA helped us technologically. There were not talks about sanctions yet. We have not received our 45 000 Euros yet. Our site protection is very serious”.

Sichinava also noted that there was no discussion of sanctions from UEFA: “During this week we were trying to solve the problem. As for biletebi.ge, UEFA instructed us to introduce fans the date for ticket sales and to make a video. There was not talk about punishment. Last Monday, we have tried to break off relations with biletebi.ge, but UEFA told not to change partner, because biletebi.ge has 6-year experience. All the tickets, the Europeans do not buy, will be back to the Georgian fans.
