Papinashvili's Bronze

Georgian judo team’s member Amiran Papinashvili won the bronze medal at the European First Games.

Second seeded Georgian judoka (60 kg) beat Jewish Artiom Arshanski 1:2 in 1/8 final. In ¼ final he lost to Dutch Kheroen Muuren. In repechage semifinal, Papinashvili won over German Tobias Englmayer and made through to the “bronze final” and there, he beat Spanish Francisco Gariggos.

Amiran Papinashvili earned 60 ranking points.
