Tskhadadze: "The Last 5 Minutes Were Disaster"

At the post-match press conference Kakha Tskhadadze, head coach of the Georgia national team, stated football must be played until the last minute. The Georgian specialist noted the last minutes were fatal for “Crusaders”.

The Georgia national team was losing 0:1 until the 89th minute. After that Robert Lewandowski scored goals at the 89th, 92nd and 93rd minutes.

“The result reflects the match. The last 5 minutes were disaster. Football must be played until the end. What happened at the end of the match is unacceptable for us. I am responsible for the result. We must analyze mistakes. We were dominating during 87 minutes, when we were losing 0:1. But we could not use a moment. I do not want to talk about the last 3 minutes, it was a disaster” – noga.pl cites Tskhadadze’s words.

Kakha Tskhadadze also talked about Poland: “Poland is a machine which works well. They can achieve a lot. Each of them knows what to do and where is their place on the field. I wish all the best to Poland”.

Georgia will hold the next Euro qualifying match against Scotland in Tbilisi on September 4. The match will start at 20:00.
