Without Gogua and Mchedlidze against Ukraine and Poland

Georgian national team’s spokesman Otar Giorgadze reported that Gogita Gogua, midfielder of “SKA-Energiya” Khabarovsk, and Levan Mchedlidze, forward of “Empoli” Italy, will not help the national team in the matches against Ukraine in Linz (June 9) and Poland in Warsaw(June 13) due to their traumas.

According to this situation, Tskhadadze called up Mate Tsinsadze, midfielder of “Dinamo” Tbilisi.

It was planned in advance that the day before the match the national team would practice in Linz (Austria), but the coaches preferred to prepare in Windischgarsten.

Tskhadadze thinks the Austrian meeting moved the national team ahead:

“Unfortunately, Gogua and Mchedlidze could not help us due to their injuries. The rest of the players are in form and prepare according to the plan. Very serious work was done on this meeting. We had time to work on tactics well. The players are oriented and hopefully the progress will appear.

We will use this friendly match for analysis. We want to see what advantages and disadvantages this practice brought to us. I believe that the Austrian meeting moved the team ahead”.

Lasha Dvali, defender of “Kasimpasa” Turkey, thinks this meeting was productive:

“The team has all conditions to be well prepared. The team is in good form and looking for the game. The meeting was productive and we must do everything to have good results in the next games”.

Guram Kashia is satisfied with the meeting too:

“Unfortunately, we lack two players due to traumas. We have to use this time to work on tactics, especially at the end of the season when the players are tired. It was quite a good meeting in Austria”.

The match of Georgia-Ukraine will start at 22:00 and Georgia’s first channel will offer live stream.
