The Georgia national rugby union sevens beat Romania 15:7 in semifinal for IX place at Sevens Grand Prix.

The both teams made a lot of mistakes in the first half. At the end Irakli Gegenava scored a try but conversion was missed – 5:0. In the second half Bidzina Samkharadze scored the second try – 10:0.

Gegenava had a chance to score his second try but failed. Romania used this chance and scored a try which was followed by conversion – 7:10. At the end of the match Samkharadze scored the third try and the match finished 15:7.

Georgia will play Belgium. The match will start at 16:00 Tbilisi time.
