Georgia Finished Elite Round with Victory

After losing to Spain and Portugal, the Georgia U-19 team beat Turkey in the last match of European Championship elite round. The Georgians took the 3rd place in the group. Devdariani made some substitutions in the composition due to disqualification of Luka Zarandia and Akaki Shulaia. Ilie Kerdzevadze, Lado Mokhevishvili-Chikviladze and Mate Kvirkvia were in lineup.

At the beginning of the match Giorgi Kharaishvili missed the target. At the 14th minute Ismaael Klose had an effort on goal.

The match went on counter-offences. 5 minutes before the end of the half Kiteishvili continued combination of Lado Mokhevishvili-Chikviladze who assisted Beridze, but he could not use this chance.

At the 41st minute Cengiz Under scored a goal – 1:0.

In the second half substitute Giorgi Tevzadze equalized score – 1:1.

Soon the Turks made an offence but Goshadze parried the ball.

10 minutes before the end of the match Kose a good chance of scoring a goal – he missed from a short distance.

At the end of the match Goshteliani scored a goal of victory – 2:1.
