The Georgia national team will lack midfielder Jaba Kankava and central defender Solomon Kvirkvelia in a friendly match against Ukraine (June 9) and in Euro 2016 qualifying match against Poland (June 13). Kankava is disqualified and Kvirkvelia is injured.
Kakha Tskhadadze, head coach of the national team, will have one more assistant. Giorgi Chikhradze, former head coach of “Simurq” Zaqatala, will help him. Tskhadadze and Chikhradze have worked for “Inter” Baku together.
Lasha Totadze, defender of “Dinamo” Tbilisi, is on the list of Tskhadadze. On June 2 17 players left for Austria. Guram Kashia, Vako Kazaishvili, Ucha Lobzhanidze, Lasha Dvali, Levan Kenia and Mate Vatsadze will join the team in Austria.

Kakha Tskhadadze made the following comment about absence of Kankava: “We wanted Jaba to be with the national team. He is not play in Poland due to ban. So, other players will be tested against Ukraine. I talked to Jaba and we decided it would be better to test the players who will play Poland later”.
Georgia-Ukraine will take place in Austria on June 9 and will start at 22:00. On June 13 Poland-Georgia will start at 20:00 in Warsaw.
