Spain Proved Status of Favorite

The Georgia U-19 team played Spain in the first match of elite round. Spain is considered a favorite of Euro 2015 because the Spaniards have won this tournament 6 times.

The Georgia national team lacked one of the leaders Luka Zarandia, attacking midfielder of “Genk”, due to disqualification.

The Spaniards justified a status of favorite and won. After this failure the Georgians have a little chance of making through the next round.

The Spaniards scored the first goal was scored at the 15th minute.

At the 28th minute Vallejo scored goal – 2:0.

The Georgians made the first dangerous moment at the 33rd minute when Giorgi Kharaishvili kicked a ball but Sivera parried it.

At the end of the half Kharaishvili assisted Giorgi Tevzadze who minimized the score – 1:2.

Forward Guram Goshteliani and central midfielders Lado Mokhevishvili-Chikviladze showed up in the second half. The Georgians started playing more actively and gained territorial advantage. Overall, Devdariani’s team held the second half better than the first one.

At the 80th minute Mayoral scored a goal – 3:1.

At the end of the match the Georgians told referee that the opponent played with hand but in vain.

At the last minute of the match Pedraza scored a goal – 4:1.
