Maka Chakhnashvili Georgian tennis player stayed beyond the current Open GDF SUEZ single tournament after the first round and went through couple tournament with Finn Emma Laine. As a result she gained 120 rating points and 4 850 $ prize money.
Chakhnashvili and Laine went through the first round of the tournament (618 000 $), they had to play against Petra Kvitov and Luce Safarova of Czech Republic, but they could not compete due to injury.  Georgian and Finn tennis players won the first set over Alice Corne and Virginia Rasano, but finally they lost 7:5, 1:6, 7:10 and finished competition at this tournament.
