Georgian judo team ended up the last day of Zagreb Grand Prix without medal. Today, champions and prizewinners in men were found out in 90, 100 and +100 kg weight category and in women – 78 and +78 kg. Zviad Gogochuri (90 kg), Aleksandre Mskhaladze and Aleksandre Zaalishvili (both 100 kg) participated in the competition. All of them lost in the initial stage.

In the first round, Gogochuri lost to German Aaron Hildebrand. Mskhaladze could not win over another German Dimitri Peters and Zaalishvili lost to Dutch Michael Korel. All three opponents of Georgians reached final and Peters became the champion of Grand Prix.

So, the Georgian team completed the Zagreb Grand Prix with the gold of Lasha Shavdatuashvili (73kg).
