The Georgian sport does not have a head and will not have for the next few days. After Levan Kipiani’s resignation, Tariel Khechikashvili’s candidature is presented but the president of Georgia has refrained from sending the list to the Parliament.
Giorgi Nizharadze, president of the Georgian Rugby Union, believes Khechikashvili would only benefit the Georgian sport.
“If the Parliament approves Tariel Khechikashvili’s candidature, I wish him good luck. I think he has all those managerial skills that will benefit the sport” – stated Nizharadze.
