Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili presented Tariel Khechikashvili on the vacant post of minister of Sport and Youth Affairs.

Tariel Khechikashvili is a president of “Iberia Business Group” and football club “Saburtalo”. Also, he is a member of the Government Commission on Development of Football.

Today PM named a new Cabinet at the briefing. According to the legislation, first president and then Parliament must approve the candidates.

Two days ago Levan Kipiani resigned from the post of minister of Sport and Youth Affairs. He headed the Ministry since October 2012.
