The delegation of the 2015 EYOF participant countries is paying a visit to Tbilisi, Georgia. The delegation will visit infrastructure and ongoing work.

Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, Davit Narmania, mayor of Tbilisi, and members of the Organizing Committee, are meeting the delegation of 50 countries and heads of Olympic Committees in Expo Georgia where presentation of the projects is being held. In the next few days the guests will make a report whether Tbilisi is ready to host the 2015 Olympic Festival or not.

“It is much more than just sports competition. It coincides with the course we have chosen – to become a full member of European family. Georgia is a country with great sport traditions. Our country has raised such athletes who played a key role in development of world sport” – stated Irakli Garibashvili.

“We are hosting the delegates of 50 countries. They will visit Olympic village. Everything is going on as it was planned. Tbilisi is ready to host this festival at high level” – added Aleksi Akhvlediani, head of the Organizing Committee.
