14th April was 77kg category day, where two Georgians competed in B group. Irakli Gabrichidze started the snatch with 135kg and lifted easely, next he lifted 140 kg, but on third try he failed to lift 145.

Gabrichidze started clean and jerk with 160kg lift, then 165kg but again failed third try. Overall Georgian athlete lifted 305 kgs and took 6th place.
