Georgian national judo team completed the Samsun Grand Prix with two bronze medals of Lukhum Chkhvimiani (60kg) and Ushangi Margiani (81kg).
Yesterday, champions and prizewinners were found out in 90, 100 and +100 kg weight categories. Georgian team had no participant in 90 kg. In two heaviest weights 2-2 Georgians were involved and Aleksandre Zaalishvili (100kg) wrestled more successfully.
Georgian bronze medalist defeated Croatian Zlatko Kumric and Uzbek Ramzidin Saidov in the main draw. In ¼ final lost to Russian Arsen Omarov. In the fight for the bronze he lost to Javad Mahjoub of Iran and occupied the 7th place.
Aleksandre Mskhaladze, wrestler in 100kg, won over Russian Mikhail Kosyashnikov and stayed beyond the Grand Prix by losing to Ivan remarenko of UAE.
Heavyweights Guga Kibordzalidze and Giorgi Bolotashvili lost in the initial meetings.
