The Georgia U-19 team will participate in Euro 2016 Qualification this autumn. Vasil Maisuradze will coach the team.
According to the website of the Georgian Football Federation, the team departed for Latvia on 23 March. The Georgians will participate in international tournament “Federation Cup 2015 which will take place in Riga on 24-27 March. They will play Latvia, Ukraine and Poland.
Maisuradze left for Latvia with the following players:
Goalkeepers: Gogi Kulua, Levan Isiani.
Defenders: Tsotne Nadaraia, Andro Nemsadze, Luka Gardani, Vakhtang Kapanadze, Giorgi Kobuladze, Badri Jomidava.
Midfielders: Lado Mamuchashvili, Sandro Altunashvili, Beka Gvaradze, Irakli Bidzinashvili, Giorgi Gvinashvili, Nika Bashaleishvili.
Forwards: Guram Goshteliani, Giorgi Tsivilashvili, Beka Mikeltadze, Giorgi Dzaria, Giorgi Kiknadze, Shermadin Artmeladze.
“It is a good team for me. I am interested with the players’ conditions and possibilities. It is our first meeting. Of course, I have information from former coach Nodar Akobia but I want to try new players” – stated Vasil Maisuradze.
The 8th group matches of the qualifying tournament will be held in Tbilisi on 12-17 November. The Georgians will face Albania, Austria and Wales.
