Amiran Papinashvili, member of the Georgian judo team, won the second round at Tbilisi Grand Prix and made through to semifinal. The Georgian (60 kg) beat Mehman Sadigov of Azerbaijan. In semifinal Papinashvili will face Sharafuddin Lutfillaev of Uzbekistan.

Today other 7 Georgian judokas wrestled on tatami of Sports Palace but all of them lost the first stage.
