4 Georgians Playing in the Second Round

Tie-breaks turned out to be successful for almost all Georgian chess players at Women’s World Championship!

In the first round Salome Melia beat Inne Kharisma Sukander of Indonesia 1.5:0.5.

Meri Arabidze defeated Elisabeth Paehtz of Germany. Javakhishvili won over Sophiko Guramishvili.

4 of 6 Georgians will continue participating in the tournament.
