The Second Failure of Georgian U-17 Team

Georgian U-17 football team lost to Belgium 0:2 in the Elite Round of European championship 2015. The second round match between these two teams took place in Netherlands.

The Georgians actively started the meeting. Vato Arveladze, Giorgi Kokhreidze and Giorgi Arabidze tried to score but could not reach the goal.

According to the official website of UEFA, Irakli Bughridze could not use the real chance of scoring in 9 minutes after renewing the second half. At the 65th minute, midfielder Orel Mangala promoted his team with 3 balls.

At the 74th minute, midfielder of U-19 team of “Genk” Matisse Thuys fixed the final score 4:0 in favor of Belgium.

The Georgians will hold the final match of elite round on March 17 against Northern Ireland.
