Shota Arveladze left his post in Turkish “Kasimpasa”. According to the Turkish websites, he announced about this at the press conference after the match: “I am leaving due to showed results”.
Arveladze’s team lost another match today to “Konyaspor” 1:2. “Kasimpasa” was winning by Ryan Donk’s goal, but missed two goals.
Interestingly, Donk scored then when a player of the opponent was injured and all were expecting the suspension of the match and the goalkeeper of “Konyaspor” had no reaction at all. As a result, “Kasimpasa” showed its generosity and gave the opponents chance to restore balance immediately – they allowed opponents to reach the goal post so that they do not even show resistance.
Georgian defender Lasha Dvali played the match without replacement.
“Kasimpasa” looked weakly this year. The team won only once from the last 9 matches. Now it is in the 9th place, however the whole round is ahead yet and perhaps will surpass.
“I want to thank everyone in the club. During the last three years, they helped me very much. I was happy working here and it is very important. I wish “Kasimpasa” success”.
On the question, where he is going to continue his coaching career, Shota responded: “First of all, I will sleep well at night. I will rest and then let us see”. Arveladze began his coaching career in Turkey since 2010. He was a head coach of “Kayserispor” for 2 years and the next 3 years for – “Kasimpasa”.
