“Cantu” of Giorgi Shermadini ended its participation at Euro Cup. The Italian club had lost the home match to “Unics” of Viktor Sanikidze 64:70 and despite that they fought until the end in Russia lost for the second time too – 72:75.

Sanikidze is injured and was not on the list. Shermadini was one of the best. Georgian center earned 11 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist in 14:35 minutes.

Giorgi scored 3 2 pointers of 5, 5 free throws of 6, had 2 turnovers and got 2 personal fouls.

It is already known that in the ¼ final of Euro Cup “Unics” faces “Locomotive” Kuban. The matches will take place on March 17 and 25.
