The Final Meeting of U-17 Team in Germany

Georgian U-17 football team, coached by Gocha Tkebuchava, will hold the final meeting before the elite round of European Championship 2015 in the German city of Duisburg. According to the official website of Georgian Football Federation, U-17 team will leave for Dusseldorf on Sunday night. From there they will go to Duisburg and will stay in sport complex “Sportschule Wedau”.

Tkebuchava took 20 football players in Germany and 18 of them will be chosen for elite round.

Goalkeepers: Giorgi Chochishvili (“Saburtalo”), Levan Isiani (“Dinamo”);

Defenders: Nika Kurshavishvili, Luka Lochoshvili, Davit Kobouri (all “Dinamo”), Giorgi Berdzenadze (“Torpedo”), Omar Bulukhadze (“Saburtalo”), Tornike Churadze (“Zestafoni”);

Midfielders: Beka Nikolashvili, Giorgi Kokhreidze, Gaga Kukhianidze (all “Saburtalo”), Vato Arveladze (“Kasimpasa”, Turkey), Akaki Kurashvili (“Dinamo”), Rati Ardazishvili, Davit Samurkasovi (both “Lokomotivi”), Erekle Malazonia (“Merani”, Martvili);

Forwards: Giorgi Arabidze (“Lokomotivi”, Tbilisi), Tornike Muzashvili (“Saburtalo”), Irakli Bughridze (“Dinamo”, Tbilisi), Giorgi Gvasalia (“Wit Georgia).

U-17 team will leave for Netherlands on March 10. On March 12th, elite round will start. The matches will take place in Uden and besides Netherlands, Belgium and Northern Ireland will be the opponents of Georgia.

First placed and 7 best second placed of 8 group of elite round will hit the final stage of European Championship, which will be 16-team for the first time. The host country Bulgaria will be added to them.
