The Georgia and the Portugal national rugby union teams held a joint pre-match press conference. Before that the Georgia national team held a practice which was open for journalists and photographers during 10 minutes.

“Portugal is a quite tough opponent. However, we always feel support of Georgian fans. We will do our best on the field. The team has prepared well and we are planning only victory”, - noted Shalva Sutiashvili, captain of our team.

“We have a tough opponent. Hopefully, we will have a successful evening and will make fans happy”, - stated Merab Kvirikashvili.

“Our team has strengthened. After winning over Germany we have made 11 changes. There is a great competition on each position and it is very important”, - noted Milton Haig, head coach of the Georgia national team.

“We have a tough opponent. I can only say we will fight for victory. I believe in my team and I am sure we will achieve success”, - stated the head coach of the Georgia national team.

The opponent team also attended the press conference. They stated they will face tough and interesting match tomorrow.

“I have been in Tbilisi before. We have won and lost as well. Hopefully, we will achieve success”, - stated one of the Portuguese players.
