The Georgian women’s tennis team celebrated the second victory in Europe/Africa Zone Group I which is under way in Budapest, Hungary.
This time the Georgians beat Bulgaria. Ekaterine Gorgodze defeated Dia Evtimova 6:4, 6:4. Sofia Shapatava lost to Elitsa Kostova 3:6, 6:7 (6:8).
In doubles Oksana Kalashnikova and Shapatava won over Evtimova and Kostova 6:3, 6:2.
The Georgian tennis players took the 2nd place in Group C. However, only first-place team promoted to playoff.
