International water polo tournament “Gvakharia’s Cup” has started at swimming pool “Olympic” in Tbilisi. The Georgian water polo players started the tournament with Turkey. The match turned out to be tough and the both teams had a chance to win. Finally, the guests managed to beat the hosts.

Last year the Georgian water polo players defeated Turkey in playoff of European Championship. Today Turkey won over the Georgians 12:9.

The Georgian national team will hold the next game against Kazakhstan at 18:30 tomorrow. Turkey will face Russia at 17:00. The tournament will end up on Sunday.
