Super League Clubs Received Funding

Today the leadership of Georgian National Basketball Federation met Super League teams and eventually cleared up their funding issue, which teams will receive from January 2015 including December. The meeting was closed for media. After the event “World Sport” contacted Mikheil Gabrichidze (president of GBF), who told the following: “Our meeting went normally and all the issues were decided. On the first stage of financing “Dinamo”, “Olimpi” and “Mgzavrebi-Armia” will receive 300-300 thousand GEL. The local self-government will fund the regional teams “Rustavi”, “Kutaisi-2010” and “Batumi”. The Interior Ministry will fund “MIA Academy” and the Ministry of Railways will help “Sokhumi”.

All eight clubs of Super league will receive an extra 100-100 thousand GEL from the basketball federation and the government in the second half of the current season.
