Georgian tennis players Ekaterine Gorgodze and Sopo Kvatsabaia started well the Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD).
Gorgodze (#2 seed) defeated Turkish Ayla Aksu 6:1, 6:1 and in 1/8 finals faces Marlis Shuper (Austria).
As for Kvatsabaia (#4 seed), she overcame Russian Valentina Kulikova 6:3, 6:2 and in the 2nd round plays against German Charlotte Classen.
In the doubles competition, Gorgodze and Kvatsabaia are #1 seeded and will be involved in the fight from ¼ final.
