Head coach of Georgian U-17 team Vasil Maisuradze left his post, however, it should be also noted that this team ended its participation at Euro tournaments. The team of such formation will not have official matches during a year and a half. In Autumn of 2017, they will be involved in U-19 Euro Qualifying.

So, Maisuradze’s resignation was expected. Unfortunately, he showed bad result in the elite round: lost all three matches in the group – against Bosnia, Russia and Italy. Maisuradze worked for this team for two months, he replaced Gocha Avsajanishvili.

Guram Aspindzelashvili will coach U-17 team and Kakha Chkhetiani will be his assistant.
