Luka Zarandia signed 3-year contract with “Genk” of Belgium. The Belgian agencies report it. “Genk” will present Zarandia with 19-year-old Sergey Milenkovic of Serbia.

It is a good precedent: young Georgian football player transferred from the local championship to European club. Hopefully, such transfers will be made often.

“Genk” is 3-time champion of Belgium (1999, 2002, 2011). The club won country’s cup 4 times (1998, 2000, 2009, 2013) and one Super Cup (2011). “Genk” took the sixth place at the Belgian Championship. In the previous season the club played at European tournaments, took the first place in the group at Europa League. In 1/16 it failed to “Anzhi”.
