The 20th World Championship starts on June 12 in Brazil. Of course, no one detracts the World Championships in Japan-South Korea (2002), in German (2006) and in South Africa (2010), but the Championship in Brazil, where football is almost considered to a religion, is a different thing. However, this South American country last time hosted the world football forum in 1950.
Like the European Championship two years ago, which was held in Ukraine-Poland, the newspaper “World Sport” and the news agency Worldsport.ge made a precedent and will have their journalist in Brazil, accredited by the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA).
The author of these lines is the only accredited journalist of Georgian media, who will attend the World Championship until the end and will light up the football battles directly from the epicenter of events.
At this point, it is known that the journalist of “World Sport” and Worldsport.ge will be able to attend 4 meetings at famous “Maracana” stadium (Rio de Janeiro): Argentina-Bosnia (June 15), Spain-Chile (June 18), Belgium-Russia (June 22), France-Ecuador (June 25).
The accredited journalist also has a right to attend the press conferences before the match and team’s practices, which is undoubtedly interesting.
After the end of group stage, hopefully, FIFA will allow the newspaper “World Sport” and Worldsport.ge attend the 1/8 final, ¼ final and of course the final.
