According to the Dutch press, Merab Zhordania purchased “Valletta” Malta. Website Voetbalzone reports that former technical director of “Vitesse” Todd Van Lieuwen also will be in the leadership of “Valletta”. He worked for the Dutch club at that time, when Zhordania was the owner.
The official website of “Valletta” does not say anything about Zhordania, however reports about Van Lieuwen. Let’s wait for the official confirmation.
As far as you know, goalkeeper of Georgian national team Nukri Revishvili moved to “Valletta” and will stay there until May. Besides, another Georgian football player – midfielder Irakli Maisuradze waits for Visa and he will also join “Valletta”.
“Valletta” is in the 2nd place in the Malta Championship and is 6 points behind the leader “Birkirkara”.
