Vatsadze Starts Rehabilitation Process in 3 Months

According to Jacob Astrup, doctor of Danish “Aarhus”, Mate Vatsadze, forward of the Georgian national team, will start rehabilitation process in 3 months.

“The operation went well. We put screws in his ankle and he needs to rest for 6 weeks. We will take the screws away after 3 months. Ankle injury may turn out as serious as knee one and football player may finish his career. So, it was important to operate on Vatsadze immediately” – jyllands-posten.dk cites the words of Astrup.

Vatsadze injured ankle in the match against “Nordsjaelland”. Perhaps, the Georgian will not be able to play for 6 months.

According to Astrup, Mate is very disappointed because of injury. So, if he wants, the management of the club is ready to send him to Georgia to his family.

After the injury of Vatsadze, “Aarhus” has problem in the offensive line and Peter Sorensen, head coach of the team, has to put Casper Sloth in midfield.

“Now we have two forwards in the team – Davit Devdariani and Davit Skhirtladze. So, Casper Sloth can play in midfield as he did against “Brondby” – stated Sorensen.
