“The contract of Valdas Ivanauskas has expired with “Dila” Gori and so, he is not a coach of this team anymore”, - Ivanauskas answered to mu question. After the match of the Georgia-Scotland U-19 teams Valdas found some time for us and stated that “Dila” has no debts.

“After the expiration of the contract we said a friendly goodbye to each other. I have loved Georgia since my childhood and I love your beautiful country now. I have connection with Georgian football and will attend the matches of the Georgian national team in the nearest future”, - mentioned the Lithuanian specialist.

To the question – “what are you going to do as a coach” – he answered: “I expect offers from Europe. I will inform you. Contact me in two weeks and I will tell you everything”, - and he handed me his business card.

Valdas congratulated the Georgian U-19 team on victory over Scotland: “It was a great victory over Scotland. I have not seen such refereeing for a long time”.
