Temur Ketsbaia:" This is a Future of Georgian Football and We Should Take Care of These Guys"

"Georgian clubs should let young players play in the Supreme League"

Temur Ketsbaia the head coach of Georgian national team who arrived in the capital of Ireland yesterday evening made comment about the success of U-19 team.

Temur Ketsbaia:” First of all, in behalf of Georgian national team I would like to congratulate U-19 team and its coaches such a big victory. Overcoming the group was not easy. We are all very happy and I am sure that the whole country is proud of them. This is the future of Georgian football. We should take care of these guys, let them play in championship, to develop and they should play for good clubs.

We have recently played in a stable way for Elite-round and these last two years, we always play at the final stage of European championship.  We all remember well the success of U-17 team last year. All these are the merit of Georgian football federation, which makes all the conditions for them, supports them and relevantly the result is logical.

But the results of U-17 and U-19 teams are not enough. These guys need attention, playing practice, gaining experience in the clubs… to my mind, Georgian clubs should let these young players play in Supreme League.

It will be profitable for everyone- first of all, for the players, who wait for their chances, for clubs, national teams and generally, for Georgian football. I congratulate them such success again and wish good luck at European championship”.
