“Ventspils” of Latvia became champion of the country for the 5th time: in the last round the club of Tornike Tarkhnishvili needed victory over “Daugava” and won 1:0. Tarkhnishvili showed up at the 87th minute and received yellow card.
The 23-year-old midfielder held the first season in “Ventspils” and became a champion of Latvia. He has held 20 matches and scored 3 goals in the season.
“Skonto” coached by Tamaz Pertia lost to “Jelgava” 2:0. It was the only loss of “Skonto” in the season. However, it did not matter – it cannot overtake “Ventspils”.
“Vitesse” Arnhem became a leader of the Dutch Eredivisie. “Vitesse” beat “Utrecht” 3:1. Guram Kashia played from start to finish and received yellow card. Vako Kazaishvili played the last 25 minutes and was very active. Giorgi Chanturia was a substitute. “Alkmaar” is the only one who can overtake “Vitesse” today.
