After “Torpedo”-“Zugdidi” match (1:2), “World Sport” asked Gerard Zaragoza, head coach of the Kutaisi team, why Nika Sabanadze was not on the list. Zaragoza told us: “Sabanadze does not like playing football”.  

We contacted Sabanadze:

- I have the groin injury and if they think I am lying, they are wrong. I have been playing for “Torpedo” for three years and half and nobody has ever said such thing about me.  

- When did you get injury?

- At the beginning of this month when we were playing “Spartaki”. I was on the list but did not play. The other day I played for the doubles and got injured there. I have not practiced since then.

- How long will not you play?

- Soon I will recover from this injury. I repeat: I have been in “Torpedo” for a long time and I have heard such thing about me for the first time.
