Bulgarian Gol recalled an interesting story. In 1995 “Lokomotiv” Sofia wanted to purchase Giorgi Kinkladze who was playing for “Dinamo” Tbilisi. Nikolay Gigov, owner of “Lokomotiv”, was a rich and influential figure in Bulgaria.

The club talked to Kinkladze but they could not reach agreement. That summer Kinkladze transferred to “Manchester City”.
