“Dila” Gori failured in the UEFA Europe League. “Dila”, coached by Giorgi Devdariani, lost to “Rapid” Vienna 0:1.

I must say that it was a natural defeat of “Dila” Gori. The Austrian team was clearly better and, although guest were not grabbing the stars from the sky, but they deserved the victory.

"Rapid" scored the only goal at the end of the first half and, they did it in the counter-attack. The hosts reached the penalty area with two assists and in the final pass Schaub Louis responded quite spectacular throwing and he stopped the dry series of Nukri Revishvili.

It should be noted that the effective attack of "Rapid" was followed to single dangerous attack of “Dila”. The hero of this episode was Grigol Dolidze, who was actually stayed face to face with the goalkeeper, but he could not act fast. He could not score from acute corner as dangerous as he wanted.

Despite the fact that "Dila" lost in Austria, it still retains a chance of reaching the group stage of the Europe League. “Dila” will host “Rapid” in Tbilisi, at the Stadium of Mikheil Meskhi on August 29. Considering that fact that forward Irakli Modebadze may join the team, defeating the Austrians does not seem so unimaginable.
