“Caspian Cup” U-17 teams is under way in Baku. 12 teams are participating in it. They are divided into 4 groups. The team of Nodar Akobia defeated Kazakhstan 13:1 in the first match of Group B.

Bulgaria also plays in Group B. The Bulgarians beat the Kazakhs 13:0.

Decisive match Georgia-Bulgaria will be held on June 1.

Winners of the groups will make through to semifinal, the second-placed teams will fight for V-VIII places and the last-placed teams – for IX-XII places.

If Georgia beats Bulgaria, it will play either the USA or Azerbaijan in semifinal on June 3.

Last year the Georgian U-17 team won “Caspian Cup”. Giorgi Devdariani coached the team then.
