Georgian clubs did not make us happy at the first qualifying matches of Europa League. “Inter” Baku coached by Kakha Tskhadadze could not defeat Finnish “Mariehamn” – 1:1. Giorgi Lomaia and Aleksandre Iashvili played for the whole match. Bachana Tskhadadze was in lineup and was substituted at the 84th minute. Lasha Salukvadze was not on the list. Mikel Alvaro showed up after the break and played in the second half. “Inter” advanced at the 7th minute and was scored goal at the 73rd minute. Several minutes before the end of the match Alvaro kicked the ball and it touched goalpost.
Bachana Tskhadadze: “Perhaps, the first goal had a bad effect on us. I think we will win in Finland and make through to the next stage”.
“Flora” Tallinn played 1:1 with Albanian “Kukes”. Defender Guram Mikadze (“Flora”) who is 24 years old played for the whole match.
“Skonto” coached by Tamaz Pertia won over Moldovan “Tiraspol” 1:0. The 18-year-old defender Lasha Dvali (“Skonto”) played from the start to finish. Irakli Klimiashvili showed up at the 85th minute. Luka Chachiashvili and Lado Datunashvili were substitutes.
Armenian “Gandzasar” lost to Kazakh “Aktobe” 1:2. Shota Jikia, Georgian forward of the Armenian club, was in lineup and was substituted at the 86th minute.
Latvian “Ventspils” played 1:1 with Welsh “Broughton”. Tornike Tarkhnishvili was in lineup of the Baltic club. He was substituted at the 43rd minute.
Finnish “Inter” could not beat “Vikingur” – 1:1. Irakli Sirbiladze, forward of “Inter”, played from the start to finish but he did not score goal.
