Giorgi Oniani a central defender of "Torpedo" was operated on spine in Tbilisi first clinical hospital. As the doctors say, operation passed well and he will not have problems in walking.

The operation was quite difficult. Giorgi was put implant in spine. It can be said that he survived from being an invalid.  

But continuation of career is under a question mark. In any case, playing football this year is excluded. Now rehabilitation process starts, which lasts about half a year.

We hope that one of the best defenders will come Georgian championship back. In any case, the doctors give us hope. 

As you know, one of the best defenders of Georgian championship was injured at extra time of the match between "Sioni"-"Torpedo". He fell down and crashed an iron post. 

Now it is late, but it will be better it the distance between the line and the posts will be longer. In such case there would be kept safety. 

Giorgi Oniani is 29-year-old. He used to play for "Lokomotivi" Tbilisi, "Dinamo" Batumi, "Sioni" Bolnisi, "Olimpi" Rustavi, "Carl Tzais" of Germany, "Dila" Gori and "Torpedo".
