Lasha Dvali Joined "Reading"

Skonto” Riga, coached by Tamaz Pertia, sold Lasha Dvali, 18-years-old Georgian central defender, to “Reading”, club of English Champion League.

Askolds Uldrikis, director of “Skonto”, said about this to the Latvian internet edition Sportacentrs.com. The official website of “Skonto” also confirmed this information.

Dvali joined the club of Riga this winter, but due to the problems with the documents, he officially enrolled in “Skonto” in July. He played three matches in the Latvian Virsliga and twice played in the qualifying stage of UEFA Europe League.

In August, Dvali played in the final stage of Europe Championship in the lines of Georgian U19 team, but then he got trauma and he has not appeared in the lines of “Skonto” any more. As we find out now, “Skonto” sold him to “Reading”.

According to Uldrikis, the club did not receive the higher amount in exchange of Dvali.

“It is not about one million” - Sportacentrs.com reports the words of director of “Skonto”.

Now, “Reading” has 15 points and is in the 7th place among 24 teams.

After selling Dvali, three Georgian legionaries are left in “Skonto”: Irakli Klimiashvili, Lado Datunashvili and Levan Chachiashvili.
