Stanislav Lysenko, former head of the selective service of FC “Krasnodar”, in the interview with “Soviet Sport” remembered the details of the purchase of Aleksandre Amisulashvili and Otar Martsvaladze.
-Amisulashvili and Martsvaladze were two of the most expensive purchases of your period – you paid 2,6 and 2,3 million euros. Why did you agree to pay such sum of money?
Stanislav Lysenko: “To be honest, purchase of Martsvaladze was not a part of this selection. He is a good player, but we added him because of the limit. We were promised, that he would have Russian passport and would not consider as a legionary. We risked and lost. With Amisulashvili was such situation, that we urgently needed central defender. Aleksandre is a good player, good person, but then of course, we overpaid.”
Here I will note, that “Krasnodar” purchased Martsvaladze from “Volga” Nizhny Novgorod, and Amisulashvili from “Kaiser” Turkey. At present, Martsvaladze plays for “Alania” Vladikavkaz (Russian First Division), and Amisulashvili plays for “Krylia Sovetov” Samara (Premier League).
