"Kicker": “Gogia – Two Steps Back for the Success”.

German internet portal “Kicker” dedicated an article to Akaki Gogia, midfielder of “Hallescher”, with a headline: “Gogia – two steps back for the success”.

Four days before the start of the new season, Ralph Kuhne, manager of “Hallescher”, managed to transfer Gogia. The 21-year-old football player has held 12 matches and scored one goal in “Augsburg”. Gogia has held 23 matches in “St. Pauli”.

The universal midfielder transferred from “Wolfsburg” from “Hallescher”.

“He can play all the offensive positions and will help us” – stated Kuhne after signing a two-year contract with Gogia. Head coach Sven Kohler added: “Andy has played in Bundesliga 2 for a long time which speaks for his high level”. In the last 11 matches Gogia did not disappoint his team (he gained average 2,95 points from “Kicker”).

Gogia who is called Andy because of his complicated name explained why he transferred to “Hallescher”: “I want to develop here. It can be done in “Hallescher”. Gogia wants to return to German Bundesliga from Liga 3.

Gogia has an extraordinary technique and scored goals in two matches – against “Stuttgart II” and “Chemnitz”.

“He can decide the fate of the match alone” – state Kohler.
