According to the online edition Ua-football.com, Jaba Kankava, midfielder of “Dnipro” Dnepropetrovsk got to the symbolic team of 11th round of Ukrainian Premier League.
“In the central match of the round, it is hard to consider Georgian legionnaire as the most noticeable player. But, Kankava paired with Rotan has done an incredible “black” work in the middle of the field – he was taking the ball away from the opponents and he was beginning attacks. Jaba won the most of the power struggles against “Chornomorets” and harassed such players as Aleksey Gay and Kiril Kovalchuk are, this is not an easy thing” – reports ua-football.com about Kankava.
In the 11th round, “Dnipro” won over “Chornomorets” Odessa 2:0 on their own stadium.
According to ua-football.com, Kankava got into the symbolic team of the round 3rd times in this current season.
And finally, Jaba Kankava will not play against Spain in the qualifying circle of World Championship 2014, because he was sent off during the match against Finland and he is disqualified.
