Former owner and president of “Vitesse” Arnhem Merab Zhordania did not say the Dutch press the reason why he left his post, however he mentioned:

 “This club is like a child for me and who wants to sell child?”

Zhordania said that the new president of the club Alksander Chigirinski is his best friend and they have sincere relations.

About Wilfried Bony: “We paid 3.5 million for him and then he was sold for 16 million in “Swansea”. However, when we invited Bony in “Vitesse” I was not thinking only about money. My heart and soul was success of “Vitesse” and not money” – said Zhordania, who calls “Vitesse” best project of his career.

Zhordania praised the coach of the team Peter Bosh and said that he is doing a unique case.  Mean the fact that “Vitesse” is fighting for the Championship and the leader “Ajax” is just behind with balls proportions. When Zhordania came to “Vitesse” in 2010 and spoke about Championship ambitions of the coming years, this was laughing for the Dutch people. But now it is reality.
